After an item is created you can attach documents to it.

Go to the item screen for the subject meeting.

How do I edit an item?

The third tab is the Attachments tab

The Attachments tab has two parts: the list of documents currently attached to the item on the left, and a viewport on the right.

To attach an item, click the Add Attachment button.

Enter a description for the attachment.

The attachment description will be the text that is used to list the attachment in a cover sheet (if applicable) and will also be the label for the automatically-created bookmark in the packet.

Click the Choose a file to upload field.

Choose a file from your computer that you want to attach to the item.

Click the Add Attachment button.

After the document is attached, it will appear in the viewport on the right.
